David Alton Wiggs, Sr., son of the late Edward Wiggs and Winnie Wiggs.  He was born on October 7, 1951 in Johnston County, North Carolina.  He graduated from Ligon High School in Raleigh, North Carolina.

He was a member of Christ Dominion Church and attended faithfully until he passed.  David dedicated his life with helping the community by advocating as a Mental Health Technician at Dorothea Dix Hospital for 30 years.

David met and married the love of his life, Judy Wiggs on July 4 1972.  Through their love and devotion, they had five children, David Wiggs, Jr. (Rhea); the late Kimberly Springs (Michael); Tyrone Wiggs; Letrice Wiggs; and Christen Wiggs of Raleigh, North Carolina.  David also had three grandchildren, Sophia Wiggs, Matthew Wiggs, and Olivia Wiggs.  Along with other family and friends.
