David Edward Swearengin, 88, of Raleigh, NC went to be with the Lord peacefully on Oct 24th, 2026. David was born in 1939 in Knoxville TN, to Oscar Noble and Sarah Elizabeth Swearengin. He is survived by wife Diana Lee Swearengin, son David Edward Swearengin Jr., and daughters Debra Russell and Tricia Brown. He has 4 grandchildren; Nichole Sweat, Laura Whitley, Travis Russell, and Levi Brown and great grandchild Abigail Russell. David served in the US Navy from June 1960 until April 1963 as Lieutenant Junior Grade.
