In Loving Memory
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Davin Agapito Arroyo, affectionately known as "Pop," who departed this life at his home in Cary, NC at the age of 84. Davin A. Arroyo was born on Feb 24, 1941 in the Bronx (NY) and lived a life marked by kindness, compassion, and unwavering dedication to God, family, and friends.
He touched the lives of many throughout the years. Known for his warm smile, compassion for others, humor, and infectious laughter, he brought joy and comfort to everyone around. Whether through acts of service, words of wisdom, or moments of quiet support through prayer, Davin's presence made a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Davin is survived by wife Gloria, his son Dwight, daughter Rebecca and son-in-law Henry, grandson J.P. and girlfriend Mahalia, and a host of other relatives and friends who will cherish his memory. He was predeceased by his brothers, Joe and John and mother Aurora.
A memorial service will be held on Monday December 22, 2025 at Montlawn Funeral Home, beginning at 10a -12pm for a closed casket gathering followed by internment at 12noon. All are welcome to join in honoring and remembering Davin's remarkable life.
Pop will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his love, humor, and generosity. May he rest in peace, and may we all find comfort in the memories, moments, and stories shared.
