Obituary of Dean Craghead

Dean Allen Craghead, 66, of Garner, passed away Wednesday morning, November 6, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Born April 24, 1947 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, he was the son of the late Loren and Berniece Craghead.

Dean is survived by his loving wife of 48 wonderful years, Faye Craghead; a son, Kevin Craghead and wife Nicole; granddaughter, Kati Craghead; brother, Jerry Craghead and wife Alice, their son Brad and his family.

At the age of 19, Dean was employed by North Electric, and stayed with this company for the next 40 plus years as it progressed into ITT Telecomm and then on to Alcatel Network Systems. At the time of his retirement, he was the Director of Sales for the Bell Atlantic Division.

The Family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m., Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Hilltop Free Will Baptist Church, 10212 Fayetteville Road, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, November 8, 2013 at Hilltop Free Will Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Jeff Jones.
