Dennis Lee "Mac" McMillan

Mr. Dennis Lee McMillan, 55, of Garner, died June 6, 2009.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2009 in the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at Montlawn Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.

A native of Sampson County, Dennis was born October 20, 1953, to the late Robert and Edna Lee McMillan. Dennis worked in the Zoning and Inspections Department with the City of Raleigh. He was also the president of the Men's Auxiliary for the Southwestern Wake Veterans of Foreign Wars and for over 10 years cooked and donated countless hours for community events.

Dennis is survived by his partner of 21 years, Gary Parlman; brother, Gerald McMillan and his wife Robin, of Raleigh; and nephews Jason and Matthew McMillan, of Raleigh.
