Don Titus DeBerry, 78, passed away at home surrounded by his wife and children on July 31, 2020.  Don was born in Raleigh, the son of the late William and Helen DeBerry. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Jimmy DeBerry.

Don retired from the City of Raleigh.  He worked for 30 years in the Public Water Works Department.

He is survived by his wife Julia, children Brenda DeBerry Watson (Eddie), Sherry DeBerry Jardine, son Doug DeBerry, grandson's Timothy and Brandon Watson, granddaughter Ashley DeBerry, three brothers, Jackie DeBerry (Lorena), Delbert DeBerry (Patty), and Ricky DeBerry, all of Raleigh; sister, Lillie DeBerry Anderson (David) of Tarboro, 8 nieces and nephews; 14 great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SPCA of Wake County or Transitions Hospice Life Care of Wake County.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel, 2911 South Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC 27603.  The family will receive friends an hour before service from 9 am to 10 am.  A graveside will be held immediately following the service weather permitting.
