Donny Carl Manshack, 76, of Raleigh, passed away at Pruitt Health on Monday, August 8, 2022. He was born on November 13,1945 in Texas, a son of the late James and Lillian Manshack. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his daughters; Amy M. Garr and Angela M. Morris, and brothers, Jimmy Manshack, Ronnie Manshack and Bobby Manshack and his sister Jean Napier.

Donny worked for 30 years at NC State University in the Horticulture Department caring for the green house plants. Donny very much enjoyed going fishing, watching Dallas football games and NASCAR racing. He was a avid gardener, who had a variety of beautiful plants. He took pride maintaining his 1970 Ford Torino convertible. Donny was a prior deacon at Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Donny is survived by his wife of 54 years Joyce Gordon Manshack. He is also survived by his brothers, Jerry Manshack, William Manshack, and Leon Manshack and multiple nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service is planned for a later date.
