RALEIGH

Doris Lee Bradford Hamilton, 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on January 29, 2021. Born on April 14, 1931, in Wayne County, North Carolina, she was the seventh of ten children born to Mary Eliza Edwards Bradford and Nathan Edward Bradford.

Mrs. Hamilton was a longtime member of Vandora Springs Free Will Baptist Church in Garner, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Richard Neil Hamilton. She is survived by her siblings, Odell Bradford (Carleen) of Fuquay-Varina, Mildred Whitfield (Robert) of Arizona; daughters, Belinda Pence (John) of Middlesex, Pamela Hamilton of Raleigh, and Christal Knott (Richie) of Fuquay-Varina; grandchildren, Richard Boone, Brittany Pence, Catrina Moretz (Sean) and Cody Knott; great-granddaughter, Gabrielle Boone.

The family wishes to extend A Special thanks to her Heartland Hospice caregivers.

There will be a private family graveside service at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh on Thursday February 4, 2021.   A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Condolences for the family may be sent to Montlawn Funeral Home - or shared here online.
