Obituary of Doris Holloman

Doris G. Holloman, 83, passed away peacefully at her home, Saturday, July, 31 2010, surrounded by her loved ones.

Family will receive friends from 6-8pm, Monday, August 2nd at Montlawn Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11am, Tuesday, August 3rd in Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Chapel of Memories.

Doris was a former member of Haven Free Will Baptist Church in Cary. She retired from Electroswich in Raleigh after 23 years of service. Doris was also a loving grandmother and will truly be missed.

Doris is survived by her son, Melvin Holloman, wife Tricia of Smithfield; daughters, Bonnie Norris, husband Jack and Diane Baker, husband Thomas, both of Holly Springs; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, James Gurley, wife Geraldine and Carl Gurley, wife Merle, both of Smithfield; sister, Margaret Barnes of Cary; sister-in-law, Joyce Gurley of Clayton. Doris is predeceased by her husband, William M. Holloman; son, Wayne Holloman; brother, Charles Gurley; brother-in-law, Joe Barnes.
