Dorothy Strickland Howsare, 74, Zebulon, NC passed peacefully on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 after a hard fought battle with ALS. Dorothy was born in Jacksonville, FL and met her loving husband Gary Howsare in Palatka, Fl. Dorothy and Gary enjoyed many life adventures with their two children Nathan and Matthew. Dorothy had a deep love for travel and spent her last few year before her illness enjoying many great adventures.

Dorothy is survived by her two sons Nathan and Matthew (Spouse Shirley); her three grandchildren Abby, Lilly, and Austin; her siblings Betty and John and their families.  Predeceased by her parents Wallace and Thelma and her husband Gary.

In accordance with Dorothy's wishes, the services will be held privately.
