Obituary of Dorothy Speelman
Dorothy Isabelle Speelman, 82, passed quietly at her home on Saturday, March 5, 2011. One of three children of the late Clyde Ellwood and Viola Silliman Walker, she was born in Brookline PA March 26, 1928. She is predeceased by her husband, Arthur Edward Speelman, and sister, Sally Marie Stewart.
She is survived by her daughters; Kerren Hunter and Sharon Speelman, both of Raleigh, grandson, Derek Hunter of Raleigh, sister Elizabeth Mechlin of North Fort Myers, FL, and Evan Christon of Butler, PA, a "Little Brother" to Arthur Speelman .
In leiu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
No services are planned at this time. Burial will be private.
