Obituary of Dorothy Williams

Dorothy House Williams, 90, of Knightdale, formerly of Wendell, died Monday afternoon, July 4, 2011 at her home.

Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Montlawn Memorial Park with the Reverend Bill Sanderson officiating.

The family will receive friends at Montlawn Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.

A native of Wake County, Dorothy was born July 10, 1920, the daughter of the late Ezra Lyman House and Lucy Quain Jones. She was a member of Hephzibah Baptist Church in Wendell.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Betty Quain Bradshaw and her husband, Joe of Swansboro, Nancy Jo Edwards of Knightdale; sister, Mrs. Willie Perry of Wendell; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bagley "Cowboy" Williams in 2010; son, Robert Phillip Williams; brothers, Thomas House and Allen House; sister, Josephine Edwards; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
