RALEIGH

Douglas Walter Harris, 73, of Summerville, SC, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 23, 2021,
after a long battle with diabetes and kidney failure. Douglas was born in Spartanburg, SC, but spent most
of his life in Raleigh, NC.
Douglas was preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Virginia Harris. He was survived by his siblings
Richard Harris (spouse Judy) and Nancy Holder (spouse Boyd); nephews Boyd Holder Jr (spouse Sharon),
and Sagan Harris, and niece Amanda Sky Harris; and great niece Vestal Holder and great nephew
Tommy Holder.
There will be a graveside service on Monday, June 28, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Montlawn Memorial Park.
