Dwight Kinch Wilson Sr. Of Wake Forest NC passed away on Monday December 10, 2018 at Wake Medical Hospital in peace surrounded by family at the age of 84. He honorably served in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Lou Wilson. He was also preceded in death by his father Woodrow Jackson Wilson Sr. , mother Emily Alda Bullock Wilson, siblings Woody, Phillip, and Aaron Wilson, and Step son Ricky Spivey.

He is survived by his children's mother Geraldine Wilson Pennington, his children Ken Wilson Jr and wife Jane of Bremerton, Washington, Gary Wilson and wife Gloria of Wendell, NC, Vickie Gargis and husband Tony Of Wake Forest, NC, Joan Poythress and husband Preston of Raleigh, NC, and Step son Randy Spivey and wife Mary of Wendell NC. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Montlawn Funeral Home at 1 PM to 2 PM with funeral services beginning at 2PM on Wednesday December 12, 2018 . Burial will follow the services at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh NC.

His family would like to thank Wake Medical Hospital Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and Wake Medical Hospital Palliative Care department for their dedicated and loving care for him as well as the family during this difficult time.
