Edna Mims Barham, 83, of Raleigh passed away Wednesday evening, April 4, 2018 at her home.  She was born May 10, 1934 in Johnston County daughter of the late Charlie Ivan and Thelma Stephenson Mims.  She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Marcia Gail Barham.

She worked for 29 years for Southern Bell, now know as AT&T.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the Montlawn Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Mitch Horton officiating.  Burial will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park.

She is survived by her husband, Carey G. Barham, a son, Michael C. Barham, a daughter, Elaine B. Ross and husband Kevin and four grandchildren, Rebecca Ross, Brittany Barham, Chase Barham and Avery Barham.

The family will receive friends Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Montlawn Funeral Home and other times at the home.
