Called by the Master to board the Glory Land Express on April 17, 2022 his ticket was punched and handed back and read First Class to Heaven through God's atoning grace. Edward "Buddy" W. Smith, Jr., passed away April 17, 2022. A native of Raleigh, North Carolina he was the son of the late E. W. Sr., and Betty Smith. Buddy graduated from Sanderson High School class of 1974 and from N.C. State University. Buddy retired from the United States Postal Service as Mail Carrier.

Buddy is survived by his sister; Joy Smith; nephew Luke Smith Tran and wife Olivia; and brother Bobby Smith.

There will be no formal services.
