Eileen P Keadle of Apex NC passed away on May 22, 2016 at the age of 82. She was a devoted wife to Paul J. Keadle Jr. who preceded her in death, for 65 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a friend to all she met. Eileen was born December 2, 1933. She grew up in Camilla, GA., where she graduated from Mitchell County High School. She made a career in banking while her husband attended college. She followed her husband as he moved numerous times in pursuit of his career at IBM for 29 years. He took early retirement in 1990 at which time they began to tour the USA, travelling by auto to 50 states and all the Canadian Provinces. They also made five overseas trips to many world capitals.
Eileen is survived by son Paul Jones Keadle III and wife Keila of Raleigh, NC, son Michael Theodore Keadle and wife Tammy of Apex, NC, grandson Daniel and granddaughter Ellen Ruth of Raleigh.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents Theodore and Reba Palmer of Camilla, Ga. and her brother Harry Palmer of Camilla.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the GFBC building fund or a charity of your choice. She will be interred in a Columbarium at Greenwood Forrest Baptist Church.
