Elisabeth Erna Sanderford, 60, died Monday at William Dunlap Hospice Center in Raleigh. She was a 40-year employee with Wake Med Hospital. Elisabeth was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed her family very much.

She is survived by her parents, William and Thea Rackley of Garner; son, Jamie A. Sanderford of Willow Spring; daughter, Dana Sanderford of Garner; brother, Phil Rackley of Apex; four grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
