Mrs. Elizabeth Jane Tabler, 93, of Garner passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 at her home. She was born November 30, 1923 in Shepherdstown, WV daughter of the late Charles Ernest and Susan Elizabeth Weller. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Irving Hensell Tabler, Sr. and three brothers, William E. Weller, John Weller and Charles Weller.

Mrs. Tabler was a member of Saint Andrews United Methodist Church. She had a great love for cooking and sewing.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Memories in the Montlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum with Pastor Vann Spivey presiding.

She is survived by two sons, Irving Hensell Tabler, Jr. and wife Roberta and family of Garner and Charles Leslie Tabler and wife Betty of Garner, two sisters, Bessie Porter of Hagerstown, MD and Elouise Richards of Berkeley Springs, WV, three grandchildren, Michael Tabler and wife April, Kelsey DeWispelaere and Kenny Tabler and wife Ashley, four great grandchildren, Lance, Pressley, Kennedy and Olly, a niece, that she was very fond of, Tenna Tabb and husband Jerry and family of Martinsburg, WV, and a very special friend and fellow church member, Pat Rackley of Garner.
