Obituary of Elizabeth Upchurch
Elizabeth M. "Lib" Upchurch, 86, of Raleigh, passed away Sunday morning, January 1, 2012.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. A Private Burial will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the service.
A native of Raleigh, Lib was born February 7, 1925, the daughter of Charlie and Lorena Upchurch. She retired from the North Carolina Dept. of Motor Vehicles with over 30 years of service. She greatly loved her family and will be truly missed by her family and friends.
Lib is survived by her sisters; Carolyn Mehlich, Lynell Massey and her husband Bobby; nieces, Kim Jordan and her husband James, Karen Poe and her husband David; nephew, Mike Massey and his wife Julie and a special friend, David Carter. Lib was preceded in death by her brothers, Willard, Charles and J. C. and her sister, Rosa Jean Upchurch.
