Eloise Haley Betts, 93, loving wife, mother and grandmother, peacefully went to be with Jesus on Monday, January 23,2023.

Born July 11, 1929, Eloise grew up in Fuquay with her parents Jasper and Maynie Haley and her three sisters. She graduated from Fuquay Springs High School

She loved Christ, her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking and home preserving from a bountiful garden she and her husband maintained each year. She was a a longtime faithful member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Raleigh where she made numerous lifelong friends. She was also retired from NC state government after 20 years of service.

She is survived by her husband, Matthew Fulton Betts, sons Steve Betts (Jeannie), Donald Betts (Gail), daughter Nancy Frazier (Fred), two grandsons, Matthew Betts (Kaylae) and Joshua Frazier, one great granddaughter Faith Steele and a host of special nieces and nephews.

Her family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of TerraBella Northridge for the loving care to Eloise over the last three years
