Obituary of Eric Bryant

Eric James Bryant 25, beloved by friends and family passed away on April 2, 2010. He was born January 28, 1985 in Raleigh, NC and is the son of Larry and Barbara Bryant.



Eric was a beautiful, sensitive and gifted child who grew into an enlightened and intelligent young man. Though sometimes seemingly shy and quiet, he was well-versed and an exceptional conversationalist who held his audience captive with his knowledge, insight and wit. Eric always had a longing to learn and grow and accepted new challenges eagerly.

Eric will always be remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. Eric earned his undergrad degree from UNC in 2007 and attended law school for one year at Ohio State University before returning to his beloved home state and his UNC Law School family. Eric was a dedicated third-year UNC Law student and proud Tar Heel who graciously touched the lives of all those he met.



His family and friends will miss him greatly.



A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday at Gerrard Hall in Chapel Hill.



Eric is preceded in death by his father Larry Bryant and his grandfather James Williams.



Eric is survived by his mother Barbara Bryant, brother Eddie Bryant, grandmothers Mary Williams and Patricia Johnson, grandfather Robert W. Bryant, Sr. and wife Pat, and aunts and uncles, Robert W. Bryant, Jr. and wife Gale, Sheryl Bryant, Barry Bryant and wife Teresa, Dennis Williams and wife Nancy, Darrell Williams and wife Toni, Shelia AbuRahma, Becky Neal and husband Wando, and 17 wonderful cousins.
