Eugen Latisha Blackwell Price

Eugen Latisha Blackwell Price, 34, of Clayton, NC entered eternal rest early Thursday morning, November 27, 2008 at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, NC.

Mrs. Eugen "Gina" Price was born in Union Co., NJ on October 19, 1974, the daughter of Eugene Blackwell and Virginia Holden Blackwell of Piscataway, NJ and Garner, NC. Gina and her family have resided in Clayton, NC since 2003. She was employed at ConAgra Foods located in Garner, NC until her illness. Gina was a fun loving wife and mom. She was especially loved by her nieces and her goddaughters. She enjoyed fishing, and going on trips with her family. Gina was a member of Barbee Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Chapel Hill, NC. Pastor Bishop L. Gene Hatley and her brother, Eugene Blacknell Asst. Pastor.

Surviving are her loving husband, Darien (DJ) Price ; daughter, Ayeshinaye her BFF, sons, Kamonti, and her baby boy, Darien Jr. "Tweet" of the home; parents Eugene and Virginia Holden Blackwell; mother in law Debra J. Price of Lanham, MD , and grandmother in law Jean S. Price of Reidsville, NC . She leaves to cherish her memory, six brothers, Eugene (Valarie) Blacknell of Chapel Hill, NC, Calvin Blackwell of NJ, Sgt .Larry D. Fowler, Fort Sam Houston, TX, John T. (Debra) Fowler, Providence, RI, Milton (Quran) W. Fowler and Ulysses "Scooter" (Anna) Ivey, Plainfield, NJ; six sisters, Patricia Ann Bonney, Veronica Bell-Ferrell , and Theresa Waller, of Garner, NC, Marion (Solomon) Sass, Plainfield, NJ, Sgt. First Class Regina Hope (Angelo) Aviles, of Columbia, SC; and her beloved baby sister, Tiffany C. Blackwell of Garner, NC; four uncles, Jesse Rufus (Desby) Blacknell, Chapel Hill, NC, Prince Edward (Emma) Blacknell, Oliver (Estine) Holden, James C. (Gussie) Holden, all of NJ; a special aunt, Rachel F. Montague of Zebulon, NC, eighteen nieces and nephews, a host of great-nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 5th at Montlawn Funeral Home, Raleigh, NC. The home going service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Bishop L. Gene Hatley and services will conclude with the interment in the Montlawn Memorial Park.
