Obituary

Faye LeNeave Avery the beloved wife of the late Franklin Avery, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.

She met the love of her life Franklin while her family rented the farmhouse across from his house in Selma, NC.  It was love instantly. They married while she was only 16, and he was the only man that she ever loved. He loved her in the same way and her family would often tease her about how spoiled she was by Franklin. After retirement  the two could be found playing golf at least 3-4 times a week.  She enjoyed cooking, scrap booking and reading her daily devotional and bible. But, most of all she loved her family.

She is proceeded by death by parents Thomas Henry LeNeave and Fanny Bell Johnson husband, Franklin Avery. Brothers Leon Dupree, Thomas LeNeave and Roy LeNeave and sister Joyce Fenton. Survive by son Ricky Avery wife Lori of Florida, daughter Judie Brock husband Jerry of Lillington. Grandchildren Brandon Avery, Heather(Daniel) Holt, Jeremy (Shena) Brock, Joe(Allison) Brock, Keri (Dusty) Byrd, Ashley (Kenny) Hales, Jonathon (Stephanie) Brock Great grandchildren Noah, Summer, Zeke, Kalayah, Remi, Kalani, Jeremiah, Ryleigh, Cam, Ella, Peyton, Avery, Everly, Huntley, Grayson, and Dawson.
