Obituary of Faye Hensley

Fay Silvers Hensley died at age 88 on December 27, 2014 at Rex Hospital. She was born February 5, 1926 in Muncie, Indiana and was the daughter of the late T.L. and Maude Silvers. She was a nurse who had a mink ranch and raised prize German Shepherds. In her later years, she worked in a nursery and the "Greenhouse Gang" became her second family. She always had a smile and a cheery word for everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hensley, her son, Dennis Martin, her brother, Max Silvers and her nephew Ben Silvers.

She is survived be her son Terry and wife Margaret; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday at Raleigh First Church of the Nazarene. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00-1:00pm Wednesday prior to the service.
