Obituary of Frances Dreifus

Frances Z. West Dreifus, of Centreville, Virginia died of complications from surgery on Monday, January 27, 2014 at Wake Med Hospital Cary, N.C. She was born in Rainelle, West Virginia on May 25, 1917. She was the daughter of the late Joseph C. Zopp and Lona Catherine Moore.

She moved to Alexandria, Virginia where she met her husband Robert (Bottles) West, deceased 11-19-68. She remarried in May of 1974 to Stanley Dreifus, now deceased, of Centreville, Virginia. They became members of Chantilly Country Club where she became an avid golfer and acquired many wonderful friends.

She is survived by her sister, Faye Hendrickson of Fayetteville, N.C. and four nephews and their wives, Bob and Jean Hendrickson of Fuquay Varina, N.C., Bill and Jan Hendrickson of DeLand, Fla., Jonn and Becky Hendrickson of Fayetteville, N.C. and Donn and Terry Hendrickson of Fayetteville, N.C., Dave and Merry West of Alexandria, VA., Marian West Fischer of Alexandria, VA., Barbara West Lunsford of Alexandria, VA., Fred and Pat West of New Port News, VA.,and all their wonderful families.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Montlawn Funeral Home, 2911 S. Wilmington Street, Raleigh from 2:00-3:00pm followed by a funeral service beginning at 3:00pm in Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends on February 4, 2014 at Everly Funeral Home, 10565 Main Street, Fairfax, VA from 10am-12 noon, after which there will be an Interment service at Ivy Hill Cemetery, 2823 King Street Alexandria, VA.
