Frances Currin Holmes, 92, of Raleigh, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022. She was born in Wake County, a daughter of the late Willard and Pauline (Malone) Currin. Along with his parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Percy Holmes.

Frances grew up on Elm Street in Historic Oakwood, and was a graduate of Hugh Morson HIgh School. Frances loved golden retrievers, she enjoyed her outings with friends, and will be remembered as a "character who loved to smile and laugh".

Frances is survived by her son Michael Van Holmes (Ellen) and her granddaughter, Brianna Holmes. She also will be missed by her many friends, and espicially, the Levy family.
