Francis "Oscar" Lattier went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 6, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents Francis Oscar Lattier, Sr. and Lula Mixon Lattier of Winnfield, LA; 5 sisters and spouse Louise Lattier of 50 years then Helen Lattier, his son Richard Lattier.

He is survived by son Rev. Ronald Lattier & wife Adina of Wilmington, NC and daughter-in-law Jan Lattier of Raleigh. He will be remembered by his last living sister Nell (Pete) Coats of Front Royal, VA and his grandchildren, Latricia Lattier & Larissa Cole of Wilmington, Joshua Lattier of Raleigh & Jason Lattier of Alexandria, VA.

Mr. Lattier was awarded 3 bronze stars for his service in US Army Air Corps in North Africa and Italy during WWII. Oscar retired from Reynolds Aluminum Supply Co. as a Plant Manager.

Viewing will be held Friday, January 11, 2019 between 6 and 8PM at Montlawn Funeral Home, 2911 S. Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC 27603. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11:00AM in the Chapel at Montlawn. Service will conclude at graveside.
