Raleigh, NC- Frank Warren Powell, 69, peacefully transitioned on Wednesday, February 17, 2021.  He was born in Wake County to the late Roy Thomas and Juanita Keith Powell.  He was preceded in death by niece Jennifer Powell.

Frank worked as a carpenter for many years.  His last employer was at Raleigh Glass and Mirror.  His passions were guitars, gardening, watching old TV shows loved dogs.  He battled COPD and lung cancer. Frank would tell anyone that to stop smoking, so they didn't end up like him.  He loved his family and was a loyal friend.

He leaves his family to cherish his memory; Brother Larry and Wife Fran Powell, Sister Lynn Powell, Brother Richard and Wife Elizabeth Powell, Sister Cheryl Powell and Husband Stacy Kinney. Nephews: Jeff Powell, Chris Powell; Nieces: Cindi Powell Davis, and Michelle Powell Strickland, along with 4 Great-nieces, 3 Great-nephews, 1Great-great nice, and 2 Great-great Nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
