Obituary of Frankie Lemons

Frankie Jean Lemons, 69, of Fuquay-Varina, passed away, Thursday evening, February 21, 2013 at Rex Hospital.

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 25, 2013 at Duncan Church of God, 1066 Oakridge Duncan Rd, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Montlawn Funeral Home.

Born April 7, 1943 in Erwin, NC, Jean was the daughter of the late Waymon "Red" Lawrence Lewis and Estelle Lewis. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth Lewis, and Pete Lewis.

Jean is survived by her son, Frankie Jones (Melissa); daughters, Lisa Avent (Anthony), and Melissa Keen (Charlie); eight grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a sister, Sandra Sands; brothers, Michael Lewis (Vickie), and Pat Lewis (Barbara); and many nieces and nephews.
