Obituary of Franklin Putney
Franklin V. Putney, 87 of Raleigh, passed away, Friday, February 20, 2015 at Transitions LifeCare.
Frank is preceded in death by daughter Susan Putney.
Frank is survived by his wife of 60 years Sybil, son Bruce (Sherry), daughter, Karen Simms (Steve) and grandchildren Ashley, Stephen and Chelsea; half brother Donald Honeycutt.
Frank was WWII naval veteran and life long member of Hiram 40 Masonic Lodge of Raleigh.
A Memorial Service will be held 11 am Thursday, February 26th at Trinity Baptist Church Six Forks Rd., Raleigh. The family will receive friends at the church from 10-11 am.
In Lieu of flowers memorials can be made in memory of Frank to Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
