Obituary of Frederick Nesbit
Frederick Nesbit, MD, 90, died of natural causes on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham.
He is survived by his wife Ottilia V. Nesbit; sons Alex and Nathan; daughter-in-law, Marie; sister-in-law Susana Zachary; nephew and nieces.
Dr. Nesbit practiced medicine in private practice for many years in North Carolina as well as prison psychiatry. He was a US Army veteran, serving during World War II in the Pacific Theater.
Funeral services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Psychiatry Dept. at DUMC, 2310 Erwin Road, Durham, NC 27710.
