Gary Lewis Long, 48, passed away from this life early Tuesday morning, on the 19th of April, 2022.

Born and raised in Wake County, Gary ran a thriving acoustical ceiling business for many years and was well known throughout the community as a skilled sportsman and for his generous heart.

A funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, April 26th at The Temple of Pentecost, in Raleigh, NC. Immediately following the funeral service, a graveside service will take place at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church 10:15-11am, prior.

Gary is survived by his children, Brittany Douglas, Linsey Douglas, and Hunter Long; His mother, Daisy Poole, his father, Mickey Gregory, Step-father, Jim Brooks, and his brothers, Trinity Brooks and Mike Gregory; Along with a large, loving, and close-knit extended family.

Gary was preceded in death by his grandparents, James L. Long, Annie M. Long , James L. Gregory, and Mildred D Gregory.
