Obituary of Gary Robbins

Gary Harold Robbins, 58, died Saturday at Rex Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was a native of High Point and grew up in Cary. He was a graduate of both Cary High School and NC State University. He retired from 3M Corporation as a sales and marketing manager after 35 years of service. He had a passion for "Antiquing" as well as collecting jukeboxes. Gary had a big heart, who everyone loved and he enjoyed playing practical jokes. He truly had a unique sense of humor and a quick wit.

Surviving are his wife, Gayle Davis Robbins; parents, Harold Lee and Ruth Miller Robbins; son, Paul Robbins; step sons, Matthew and Brian Daniels; sister, Karen Coward and husband Pete; step-grandchildren, Mary Alex, Caroline and Kyle Daniels; niece, Heather Herron; great niece, Dixie Herron.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at Inwood Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at Montlawn Funeral Home from 7-9 pm on Monday.
