Gayle Barnes, 69, of Providence, RI, passed away on November 7, 2024. She was born on July 20, 1955. Gayle was a kind and loving individual who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Gayle is survived by her beloved brother, George D. Slack III, sister-in-law, Dawn Slack, her nephew Stephen Slack and her nieces Sydney and Sierra Slack along many cherished friends and family. Her warmth, compassion, and dedication to those around her were defining qualities of her life. While she may no longer be with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

A graveside service will be held at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh, NC, on Friday, November 15, 2024. The service will begin at 1:00 PM, with burial following.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Saint Elizabeth Assisted Living in Providence, RI in Gayle's memory. Gayle will be remembered for her generosity of spirit and her unwavering love for her family. May she rest in peace.
