Obituary of George Sinclair
George William Sinclair, 97, of Raleigh, formally of Wantagh, New York, and St. Petersburg, FL, died Tuesday morning, December 3, 2013, surrounded by his family at Hospice of Wake County.
Born June 2, 1916, in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late George Sinclair and Anna Schmidt Sinclair. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Agnes Sinclair; and his brother, Edward Sinclair.
George is survived by his daughter, Maryann Sinclair Slutsky and her husband Alan; son, George Sinclair, Jr.; grandchildren, Sean, Gabriel, and Adam; and great-grandchild, Hux.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:30 p.m., Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Montlawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in honor of George to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
