George James Stirling, 65, passed through heavens gates November 6, 2021.  He was born in Sault Ste. Marie, MI on May 12, 1956 to Donald J Stirling and Norma Kennedy Stirling.  He was preceded in death by his mother Norma K Stirling; grandparents Jim and Eva Stirling, George and Daisy Kennedy; his in laws Raymond and Ruby Dean and a special Grandson Brandon Irey.

George enjoyed sports in school and excelled in them holding many records. He graduated from Pickford High School (class of 1974).  Following school he joined the US Merchant Marines, and continued his working career working for Jones & Frank Petroleum Equipment Company, C&A Equipment Company and retiring from Lowes Home Improvement.

In addition to his Father, Donald J. Stirling, George leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 40 years,  Jennifer Dean Stirling; his children Christy Roberts, Douglas Dean and Susan (Travis); grandchildren,  Nicholas, Jakey, Tyler (Meranda) and Tanner; his sisters: Donna Harrison (Ron), Cheryl Harrison (Paul), Mary Sue Stirling, and Jenalee Gough (Glen); nieces and nephews Lisa, Dwayne, Carrie (Sarah), Dawn Marie, Mandi, John, James, Snyder (Lisa) Tim, Teri, - and host of great nieces and nephews. A group of special friends: Ed Raynard, Nate Perez, Kenny Griffin, Wade Patrick, Jody Bridgers, and Mike Smith.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 1:00 pm -2:00 pm at Montlawn Funeral Home, and other times at the home. A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 9, 2021  at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bryan Chapman officiating.  Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.
