Geraldine (Gerry) C. Seymour, of Raleigh, died Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Transitions Hospice Home.

A Celebration of Gerry's Life will be held 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 29, at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m., prior to the service.

Gerry enjoyed traveling, visiting friends, neighbors, working in her yard, and researching family history. She was a member of the Order of First Families of NC, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Daughters of the American Colonists.

Gerry is survived by daughters Karen Bowman and Lisa Burcher; granddaughters Erin and Emily Burcher; sister Carol Sims; and niece Laura Twyman.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Gerry to Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607. Arrangements are by Montlawn Funeral Home, 2911 S. Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC. Condolences can be shared through this online guestbook.
