Obituary of Gladys Greene

Gladys Conyers Frazier Greene passed away early Sunday morning, July 17, 2011 at Rex Hospital surrounded by family and friends and with the good care of the nurses and doctors of the ICU.

Mrs. Greene was born October 5, 1931 in Franklin County, NC to John and Ruby Conyers. She is survived by: daughter, Deborah Melaragno of Charlotte; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Danny Gardner of Angier and their sons Brian, Matthew and Daniel; sister Hazel Rice of Youngsville, and many loving nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Clarence, Carlton, Frank, Norman and Billy; husband (and father of her daughters) Lealon Thurman Frazier; and husband Paul Greene of Albemarle.

Deborah and Janet extend their gratefulness and love to those who have shared her life: loving neighbors, dearest friends, and many church members from Rehobeth Primitive Baptist Church and its' satellites.

A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Montlawn Memorial Park. Elder Joe Helms of Rehobeth Primitive Baptist Church will officiate.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10-10:45 a.m.Tuesday.
