Gloria Jean Saltsman (Paci) of Raleigh, North Carolina passed away peacefully at home December 1, after a long battle with Dementia.

Gloria was born in Hibbing, Minnesota to Paul and Leona Paci December 13,1943. Upon graduation from Hibbing High School Gloria moved to Chicago, Il. Where she became employed at Cook Electric as a data entry operator, this is where Gloria met the love of her live Alton and married on May 12, 1977.

Gloria and her husband moved to Raleigh, NC in October of 1992 when her husbands job/company transferred to RTP. Gloria went to work for a Temp. agency and through this agency ended up at the NC State Treasurer's Office where she became a full-time employee and retired in August 2011 after 10 years with them. During Gloria's agency work she met a co-worker that square danced who invited Gloria to join. We did, and she really loved it and met a lot of new fellow square dancer. Gloria was also a breast cancer survivor and walked the Susan G. Komen walk for many years until effects of the disease wouldn't allow her to walk any longer.

Gloria is survived by her loving husband Alton of Raleigh, sisters MaryAnn Cook, Minneapolis, MN. and Margaret Dreher, Osburn, ID,and several nieces and nephews, MN. ID, WA.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents: Paul and Leona Paci, brother Ruben Paci, and sister Madalyn LaFayve.

The family will receive friends at Montlawn Funeral Home, Thursday Dec. 6  from 1 pm to 2 pm, the funeral will follow at 2 pm in the Chapel of Montlawn Funeral Home with burial to follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh.
