Gordon Lee Haasis, 78, of Raleigh, passed away Tuesday, December 20th at Hillside Nursing Home in Wake Forest. He was born in Islip, NY on September 19th, 1944 and was the son of Frank and Maxine Haasis.

Gordon was preceded in death by his beloved wife Patsy Haasis. He is survived by his two sons, Frank Haasis (wife Priscilla) and Baxter Haasis (wife Allison); and sister Nancy Brandon (husband Dan).

Gordon loved his job as he was a well known Case Tractor expert and had been working in the industry since he was a teenager. He was also a dedicated Army National Guard veteran after serving and retiring after 21 years as a Master Sergeant.

He was a man of integrity who laughed often, especially after making fun of you, loved hard, and loved to talk…a LOT.
