Gregory Neil Kelly, age 57, passed away on Sunday, March 29th, 2015 at the Durham VA Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. He was the son of the late John W. Kelly Jr. and Faye Jones Kelly.

Gregory was born in Wake County, N.C. on September 6th, 1957. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. He was also a skilled cabinet-maker and an auto mechanic.

Gregory was pre-deceased by his brothers, Danny and Timmy Kelly, and his nephew Brandon Livesay. Gregory is survived by his son Jeremiah David Brooks; daughter Hannah Kelly Weisberg and her husband Brian and grandson; god-daughters Mia and Summer Robbins; brothers Johnny Kelly III, Ken Kelly and wife Robin; sisters Angel Richardson and husband William, and Debbie Poole; nieces Krystal Pendleton and husband Brian, Kathryn Ditson and husband Matthew, Sarah Gwinner and husband Austin, and Laura Kelly; Nephew Kevin Livesay; great-nephews Dakota and Nathan Pendleton and Garrett Ditson; and great-niece Renae Ditson.

Per his wishes, Mr. Kelly will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at Montlawn Funeral Home in Raleigh North Carolina on Tuesday, April 14th, 2015. Visitation will be from 7-8pm and Memorial Service will begin at 8pm. Ken Kelly, Gregory's brother will be officiating the service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Wounded Warrior Project in Mr. Kelly's honor.
