Hannah Marie Morgan Keller, 41 years old, passed away December 5, 2024, following a lengthy battle with the blood cancer, Myelodysplastic Syndrome. Hannah passed surrounded by family and close friends.

Hannah was preceded in death by her father, John Henry Morgan; her paternal grandfather, William 'Joe' Sherrill and her maternal grandmother, Florida 'Flo' Mix.

She is survived by her husband, Joel Keller, her two children, Austin and Barbara; her mother, Connie Sherrill Morgan, her brother Jeremy Morgan, her maternal grandmother Juanita Sherrill of Raleigh; her mother-in-law Audrey Keller of Greensboro; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Hannah, a Raleigh native, attended Wake County Schools where she was a gifted scholar and outstanding softball player. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Education while on a softball scholarship at Lees McRae College. She received her Master's in Education from Concordia University.

Hannah began her teaching career at Angier Elementary School in Harnett County. She taught math and coached soccer and softball at East Garner Middle School. She then moved to teach at Garner Magnet High School where she was a math teacher, JV softball coach then assistant varsity coach, tutor, and mentor. She was passionate about ensuring that her students and players succeeded. Hannah truly inspired everyone around her and was a beacon of light in the community.

She loved spending time with family and friends, RV camping, fishing, running a resale shop out of her detached garage, and doing arts and crafts.

Services will be conducted at Montlawn Funeral Home in Raleigh on Saturday, December 14, 2024. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 pm with a short service to follow at 2:00pm. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of UNC Chapel Hill Medical Center for the loving care they provided for Hannah.
