Obituary of Helen Koenig
Helen Elizabeth Koenig, 79, of Raleigh, died Thursday afternoon, March 15, 2012.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
A native of Emmitsburg, MD, Helen was born March 10, 1933, the daughter of the late Stanley and Dorthea Miller Namet. She was an administrative assistant to the brokers at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Jackie Karagiannis and her husband Tony of Raleigh; sons, Mark Koenig and his wife Kathy of Kentucky, Rick Koenig and his wife Gail of Florida; grandchildren, Nicholas, Marissa, Alayna and Robert and his wife Brittany, and her brother, Pete Tokar. Helen was preceded in death by her son, Eric Koenig.
