Obituary of Henry Ford
Henry "Hank" E. Ford, 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, November 16, 2009 at his home in Wake Forest.
There will be a Memorial Service at 4:00pm Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel.
Hank was born on November 13, 1923 to John and Flora Ford of Sturgis, Oklahoma. He served honorably in the US Army and was a proud graduate of Kansas University. Hank was a civil engineer by trade and, among his many other accomplishments, he founded Crosswinds Marina.
Hank is survived by his wife, Rita Liles Ford of the home; his daughter, Linda Ford; five step-children; thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Donald Ford and his ten siblings.
Hank dearly loved his family and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Wake County 1300 St. Mary's St. Raleigh, NC 27605.
