Obituary of Herbert Cox
Herbert O. Cox, of Raleigh, died Monday December 28, 2009 at Rex Hospital.
The Family will receive friends at Montlawn Funeral Home, from 7:00pm until 9:00pm, Wednesday, December 30, 2009. There will be a service at 11:00am Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at the Chapel of Memories in Montlawn Memorial Park.
Herbert was a native of Raleigh and a longtime business owner. He was an active member and a Past Master in the Masons, Charles B. Newcomb, Lodge #740.
Mr. Cox is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca Horton Cox; daughter, Monica Oakley and husband, Les; Granddaughter, Olivia, all of Apex; sisters, Margaret Wooten Fleming of Raleigh, Melba Sinclair of Albemarle and brother, Belvin Cox of Tennessee.
Memorial contributions can be made to The Masonic Home for Children at Oxford, 600 College Street Oxford, North Carolina 27565.
