Obituary of Hershell Houston
Hershell D. Houston, 79, passed away at WakeMed Cary Wednesday, June 16, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Services will be held 3pm Sunday, June 20th at Caraleigh Baptist Church. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Hershell was born on February 8, 1931 in Erwin, NC to the late Marion and Lora Houston. He was a member and Deacon of Caraleigh Baptist Church in Raleigh,
Hershell is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Houston; son, Gary Houston and wife Kelly; grandsons, Chris Houston, Brandon Houston and wife Dana; great grandsons, Hunner and Tucker Houston. He is predeceased by his son, Ricky Houston; brothers Terrell, Robert and Lester Houston.
