Obituary of Homer Williams

Homer Bagley Williams, 89, passed away at his home Sunday, May 2, 2010.

Family will receive friends at Montlawn Funeral Home Thursday, May 6th at 11:00am. Funeral services will follow 12:00 noon at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel.

Bagley served in the US Army, WWII South Pacific. He was a member of the William G. Hill Masonic Lodge, and retired as Captain from the Raleigh Fire Department after 31 years of service.

Bagley is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Mae House Williams; daughters, Betty Quaine Bradshaw and husband Joe of Swansboro, NC, Nancy Jo Edwards of Knightdale, NC; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Bagley is preceded in death by his son, Robert Phillip Williams; 2 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brother, Worth Siler Williams; half brothers, Billy and Bobby Powell.
