Irene Messrah Kirkpatrick, born March 16,1931 passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021. She was the daughter of Phillip and Emma Messrah of Los Angeles CA and sister of George, Sam, Bob, Jim, Sue Muskrath ,and Martha Schwary.

She married Bill Kirkpatrick in December of 1950 and moved to Atlanta GA. There they had three children Steve, John (Pilar) and Debbie (Connell Radcliff). They had eight grandchildren, Elizabeth (Austin Petree), Michael (Brittany), James (Sarah), Cathlene (Kevin Holloran), Nicolette, Tyler, Corey Radcliff and Caroline Radcliff and five great grandchildren Adair and Gavin Petree, David, Sammy and Jake Kirkpatrick. She had numerous nieces and nephews in Los Angeles and Atlanta.

A very special thank you goes to her caregivers David Milton, Sheila Pierce, Naa Vanderpuye and Rachael Krasuski and also Transitions Hospice of Raleigh. The care she received was first class and appreciated more than you will ever know.

This beautiful woman and talented artist will be dearly missed.

Due to COVID a graveside service only will be held at Montlawn Memorial Park Thursday, September 9, at 1:00 pm.
