Mrs. Irma Morris Blake Prevette, 102, passed away September 22, 2023. Irma was born March 17, 1921, in Wake County to the late
Leonard and Lillie Gargis Morris. She was a devoted mother who also worked outside the home. She retired from Westinghouse where she
was a meter inspector.

Irma was preceded in death by her parents, 8 brothers, 3 sisters, son, Robert Earl Blake & his wife, Patricia, and son, Thomas Everette
Blake & his wife, Linda, daughter-in-law, Jewell Blake and son-in-law,
Hugh Sanders, 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

She is survived by her brother Robert Morris of Durham, children, Wilbur Blake (Ellen) of Cary, William Blake of Rougemont, Patricia
Sanders of Wendell, and Rebecca Rogers (Bob) of Carlisle, OH, as well as 19 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and lots of great-great,
and great-great-great grandchildren (6 generations).

Pallbearers will include Wilbur L. Blake, John Blake, Tim Blake, Keith Blake, Ben Blake, and Robert Sanders.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:45 P.M. on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Montlawn Cemetery, 2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC
27603. Officiating will be Rev. Gerald Blake.
